Food For Game - By Dan Moultrie & Tony Kinton
As this book states, it is a complete guide for the drawing and holding of wildlife through supplemental feeding. This book explains why there is a need for feeding and gives details on how and what to feed. It touches on how to acquire hunting land, albeit a hunting lease or club or even door-knocking. It goes on to discuss how to select a site and how to properly use salt and minerals, feeders and even food plots. An important thing to remember and they state this directly in the first chapter...
"If hunting is the goal the effectiveness of feeding, whether totally artificial or some-what natural, should not be used to exploit the game. It can be used as an aid, but care must be taken that such practices are kept within a reasonable limit."Overall this is a great book, it not only teaches you about feeding for, or even planting food plots of clover or chufa (and many more), whitetail but also covers turkeys, doves, and quail. It's a great read and a must for anyone who uses artificial or natural attractants for wild game.
